Who We Are

Built by Aviators,
Engineered for Builders.

SAC Aero Design is led by two retired USAF avionics specialists and a software engineer with a lifelong passion for experimental aviation. From our shop in Warrensburg, Missouri, we design and fabricate precision-engineered custom avionics panels for homebuilt and amateur-built aircraft across the United States. Every panel is built to fly, with the reliability, discipline, and attention to detail we learned in the Air Force.

Our Story

The Team Behind
the Panel.

SAC Aero Design was founded by a team with deep roots in military aviation. Our two retired United States Air Force avionics specialists spent decades maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading mission-critical aircraft systems. Paired with a software engineer who grew up around homebuilt aircraft, our team blends hands-on avionics expertise with modern digital design and fabrication.

From our shop in Warrensburg, Missouri, we support experimental aircraft builders nationwide. Every panel begins in Autodesk Fusion with a full CAD model, then moves to CNC machining for precise tolerances, followed by aircraft-grade wiring harness fabrication. Core design, machining, labeling, and harness work are performed in-house, with any specialized processes or components sourced through carefully vetted and approved vendors to ensure consistent quality, traceability, and performance, held to the same standards we upheld in the Air Force.

As builders ourselves, we understand the trust you place in a custom avionics panel. Whether you're flying an RV series, Zenith, Kitfox, Sling, Sonex, or a one-off scratch-built design, we treat every project like it is going into our own aircraft. Our mission is simple: deliver a panel that looks incredible, performs flawlessly, and inspires confidence every time you fly.
