Material
The foundation of your custom avionics panel. We offer three high-performance materials, each with its own strength, weight, appearance, and machining characteristics, so you can build a panel that matches your aircraft and mission perfectly.
The industry standard for experimental and amateur-built aircraft panels. 6061-T6 aluminum is lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant, and machines beautifully. It is the ideal choice for most VFR, IFR, and glass cockpit builds. Available in .063" and .090" thicknesses and compatible with every finish we offer.
A full carbon fiber composite panel with the signature woven texture. Carbon fiber offers exceptional stiffness and the lightest weight of any material we use. It is the premium choice for builders who want a high-performance look and feel with maximum strength-to-weight efficiency.
A hybrid design combining an aluminum substructure with a carbon fiber face skin. This option delivers the best of both worlds: aluminum's excellent machinability for complex cutouts and carbon fiber's premium appearance on the visible surface. A great choice for builders who want a high-end look without sacrificing structural flexibility.
Finish
The finish defines the look and feel of your entire cockpit. We offer three primary finish types: automotive grade paint, anodize, and raw aluminum, with nearly unlimited color options for builders who want a fully custom, professional-grade instrument panel.
Our most commonly selected finish for experimental aircraft panels. Automotive paint provides a durable, scratch-resistant surface and is available in a wide range of aviation-friendly colors, delivering a clean and professional cockpit appearance.
Type III hard anodize creates an extremely durable, corrosion-resistant surface ideal for high-wear cockpits. Available in clear (natural silver) or black. This mil-spec finish is permanent, uniform, and ideal for builders who want maximum longevity.
A clean, machined look straight from the CNC. Panels are deburred, edge-broken, and optionally brushed for a refined metallic finish. Perfect for builders who want to apply their own paint or coating, or prefer the classic bare-metal aesthetic.
Lighting
Illuminate your custom avionics panel with professional-grade LED Panel Lighting. Every kit includes a panel-mount dimmer, mil-spec LED strips, and diffuser channels for clean, even illumination for your labels and switch legends, perfect for night flying and IFR operations.
Controls
Every switch, breaker, and control is selected specifically for your aircraft's electrical system. We source aviation-grade and mil-spec hardware to ensure reliability, safety, and long-term durability in demanding cockpit environments.
Aircraft-grade toggle switches available in single, double, and triple-throw configurations. Optional safety guards for critical systems such as master, ignition, and fuel pumps.
Illuminated momentary and latching push buttons for avionics, flaps, trim, autopilot disconnect, PTT, and more. Custom engraved legends available for a clean, professional look.
Push-to-reset aircraft circuit breakers sized and arranged for your electrical system. Includes labeled breaker panels and a complete breaker map for easy troubleshooting.
Multi-position rotary selectors for fuel tank selection, lighting modes, autopilot functions, and intercom routing. Aviation-grade hardware with crisp, positive detents.
Engraving
Every custom avionics panel includes precision laser-engraved labels. Our engraving is crisp, permanent, and highly readable in all lighting conditions, including LED Panel Lighting. Choose from multiple engraving styles or add custom artwork, N-numbers, or logos.

Configuration
Every panel we build is fully custom, but we start with proven layout templates for the most common experimental aircraft. These templates ensure proper fit, ergonomics, and avionics placement, then we tailor every detail to your mission and equipment.
RV-6, RV-7, RV-8, RV-9, RV-10, RV-12. We maintain reference data for all major RV models. Drop-in fit panels with correct tunnel, rib, and sub-panel clearances.
Zenith 601, 650, 701, 750 STOL. Wide-format panels ideal for glass cockpit layouts, dual EFIS screens, and side-mounted switch columns.
Kitfox, Just Aircraft, CubCrafters, and other bush-style aircraft. Slimmer panel profiles optimized for VFR, lightweight builds, and rugged backcountry flying.
Compact, efficient layouts for Sonex, Waiex, and Jabiru builders. Lightweight VFR-focused designs with smart use of limited panel space.
Modern composite kit aircraft with generous panel space. Ideal for full glass suites, autopilot, dual radios, and premium avionics integrations.

We design your custom avionics panel around the exact equipment you choose. Our team has hands-on experience with every major avionics brand in the experimental market, from Garmin and Dynon to AFS, GRT, Avidyne, and more. You can also access exclusive partner pricing when purchasing avionics through us.
Garmin is the gold standard for experimental avionics. We design panels for the full Garmin ecosystem, including EFIS, GPS/NAV/COM, audio panels, and ADS-B solutions.
Dynon is a favorite among experimental builders for its capability, affordability, and strong community support. Ideal for VFR and IFR glass cockpit builds.
AFS systems are especially popular in the RV community for their deep integration, intuitive interface, and excellent engine monitoring capabilities.
Grand Rapids Technologies (GRT) is trusted by serious experimental builders for its flexibility, deep customization, and strong IFR capability.
Don't see your preferred brand? We also work with Avidyne, uAvionix, Trig, Navworx, Appareo, and more. If it's approved for experimental aircraft, we can design a panel around it. Ask us.
